Steph

J'aime beaucoup ou j'habites mais le Nord a ses désavantages. Par exemple, ici a Norman Wells les gens arrivent et repartent, sans arrêt. C'est petit alors on apprends à connaître tous le monde assez rapidement. Certaines personnes plus que d'autres. On apprends a aimer une personne et BOUM ils partent. Ca a été le cas récemment pour mon amie Steph. On s'étaient rencontrées à une couple de party, chouette fille, toujours de bonne humeur et avec un beau grand sourire. On a travaillées ensemble pour la ville pendant quelques mois. Native du Labrador elle s'est décrochée une job à Terre-Neuve, 2 semaines et elle était partie. Fini. That's it. Done. On s'est fait un souper avec tous les copains à Mackinnon Park. Bin de la bouffe, bin des rires avant de dire au revoir à une autre amie.

I really like where I live but the North has is down side. Per exemple, here in Norman Wells people come and go, all the time. It's a small place so you get to know pretty much everyone real quick. Some people more than others. You learn to love someone and than BOUM they are gone. It was the case recently with my friend Steph. We met a couple times at parties, sweet girl, always happy and with a nice big smile. We worked together for the town for a couple of months. Born and raise in Labrador she found a job in Newfound Land, 2 weeks, gone. Over. That's it. Done. We had a dinner with all the buddies at Mackinnon Park. Lots of food and laughter before saying good bye to another friend. 

I miss you a lot Steph and I wish we'd share the same kind of love for the North and it's cold winters ;)
