Hier soir était le genre de soirée sans plans où on se dit: aye on va prendre des photos...n'importe où...et on verra ce que ca va donner ! alors Katherine, Raelyn et moi somes parties en direction de DOT. Quand j'ai vu du vert dans le ciel nous avons tournées sur le chemin de la dompe pour aller en hauteur. Katherine et moi avant montées nos trépieds et caméras. Nous n'avons définitivement pas obtenues les aurores auxquelles nous nous attendions. c'étaient des nuages gigantesques d'aurores, le ciel était couvert de vert!
Last night was kind of a freestyle. You know when you're like: hey lets go take some pictures...anywhere... and see what happens! Katherine, Raelyn and I started driving towards DOT lake when I saw a patch of green in the sky so we turned on the dump road and drove up. Katherine and I set up our cameras and what we found was not the northern lights that we were expecting! it was like a gigantic cloud of northern lights the sky was just covered!
J'avais vu sur pinterest que si on mélange un 'glow stick' avec des bulles de savon elles allaient briller dans le noir alors on a décidé d'essayer..ca n'a pas vraiment fonctionner mais ca a fait un super bel effet sur la neige! On voit ci-dessous Raelyn qui s'amuse a éclabouse la neige de mélange "glow in the dark".
So i saw on pinterest that if you mix a glow stick with soap bubbles they would glow in the dark so we decided to try but it didn't really work 'cause it was kindda freezing and the bubbles were freezing too. but it did a really cool effect on the snow. The picture under is Raelyn spraying the snow with the glow in the dark mix!
Sous ce beau ciel étoilé et les orteils complètement gelés nous sommes retournés au chaud près du poêle à bois. Vraiment une belle soirée qui fait apprécié les froides nuits de l'hiver.
Under these beautiful stars and the frozen toes we went back inside neir the wood stove. A really great night that make you appreciate even more the cold nights of the winter.
