Aujourd'hui il est arrivé quelquechose de vraiment trop chouette. Je planifiais faire une soupe thaï pour souper sauf que ici il faut compenser les ingrédients manquants par d'autre chose. Tous le temps. Sauf que...quand je suis arrivée à l'épicerie il y avait de la CORIANDRE!!! pas juste des flocons secs de coriandres dans des petits pots là! De la vrai coriandre FRAÎCHE!! Flabergasté! J'étais au téléphone avec mon amie Katherine et elle me dit: JE LE SAIS, d'ailleur achète des yams ils sont pas chers! sérieusement, si vous n'avez jamais habité dans le nord vous ne comprendrez peut-être pas mais, ca a fait ma journée. Ma soupe thaï AVEC coriandre était délicieuse!!
Today something really nice happened. I was planing on making Thaï soup for dinner but most of the time here you have to compensate your missing ingredients by other ingredients. like. all the time. But, when I got to the store there was CILANTRO! not just dried coriander in a jar, FRESH Cilantro! flabergasted. I was on the phone with my friend Katherine who was probably as excited as I was and said: I KNOW, also get yam they are cheap. Seriously, If you've never lived in the north you might not understand but it just made my day. Also, my Thaï soup WITH coriander was delicccious!!
