Mon amie Sue va bientôt se marier et à son mariage elle va avoir comme centre de table des fleurs dans un vase entouré d'écorce de bouleau. Bref, Katherine s'est portée volontaire pour s'occuper de trouver l'écorce de bouleau et m'a enrolé dans la mission par le fait même. Alors en ce beau et ensoleillé samedi avant-midi nous sommes partis en camion Katherine, son mari Malcom, leurs 2 beaux enfants Rowen et Isabella et moi à la recherche d'écorce de bouleau.
My friend Sue is getting married soon and she want for the center pieces a vase of flowers with birch bark wrapped around it. So, Katherine volunteered to find the bark and included me in the mission in the same time. On this beautiful and sunny saturday morning we left in the truck Katherine, her husband Malcom, their two beautiful kids Rowen and Isabella and me to find birch bark.

nous avons fini par coupé un bouleau mort et le ramener chez katherine où Malcom l'a coupé en morceau de 6/5 pieds de long. Katherine et moi avons ensuite procéder, dans le confort de la maison au dépelage des billots.
We ended up cutting a dead birch and bringing it back to Katherine's where Malcom cut them in 6/5 inches pieces. Katherine and I than, in the comfort of the house, pealed the logs.
