Les vendredi soirs c'est nos soirées de filles. qu'importe ce qu'on fait on se ramasse entre amis et on passe du bon temps. Cette semaine je suis partie avec mon amie Deb et mon amie Katherine, dans le beau nouveau camion de Katherine pour faire un petit tour dans les hauteurs pour avoir une vue surplombant la ville. Nous avons donc cheminées jusqu'à ce qu'on appelle la "twilight zone" qui est sur le chemin de Jackfish Lake. On s'est posté en haut d'une colline et voici la vue qu'on avait. c'étais de toute beauté. Il était à peine 8h et les aurores boréales commencaient déjà à danser dans le ciel!
Every friday night is a ladies night. Whatever what we do, we just all gather somewhere and have a good time. This week I left with my friends Deb and Katherine and we went for a little ride in Katherine's pretty new truck. We went up high to have a good view from the top on the town. So we drove to this place called the twilight zone, on the way to jackfish lake. We went up a little hill and this is the view that we had. it was absolutely beautiful. it was barely 8 oclock and the northern lights were already dancing in the sky!
Toutefois, les aurores étaient plutôt pâles et il faisait encore plutôt clair (et il faisait VRAIMENT très froid!!) Alors nous avons décidé d'aller à la légion (Il y a seulement 2 bars ici, "The big bar" et la légion) prendre une bière...ou 3. Bref, quand on est ressorties beaucoup plus tard, le ciel était très foncé et les aurores étaient magnifiques! Jp le conducteur DU taxi est venu nous chercher devant la légion et nous sommes allé reconduire Deb chez elle à DOT lake. moi j'ai continué à me promener avec JP, on est allé chercher d'autres gens et les reconduire où ils s'en allaient. et pendant tout ce temps les aurores dancaient au dessus de nos tête. alors JP me dit, allez, on va chercher ta caméra et on va aller à la dompe et tu vas me montrer comment tu prends des photos des aurores!
But than the lights were kindda pale and the sky was to bright ( and it was REALLY COLD). so we decided to go to the legion (there only 2 bars in this place, the big bar, and the legion) for a beer....or 3. Anyway, when we came out way later, the sky was dark the norhtern lights were gorgeous!! We called JP the taxi driver and he picked us up in front of the legion. I went for a little drive with him and we drove Deb home out at DOT. than we went to pick up more people and dropped them off at their house. and than this whole time the lights were dancing above us. I told JP that I would show him how to take pictures of the lights if he wanted too so he drove us to the dump and took these pictures!
Samedi je suis allé faire un autre tour de Camion avec Katherine mais cette fois-ci nous sommes allé dans un endroit avec une vue disons...différente!
Saturday I went for another truck ride with Katherine but this time we went somewhere with, lets say a ...different view.
j'en veux un comme ca!
I want one of those!
