christmas on the mackenzie (for the 2nd year)

Ce matin pour déjeuner je suis allée avec mon amie Rachel chez Angela et Chris. C'étais absolument exquis. Chris a cuisiner des tonnes de nourriture. Juste en montant les escaliers dehors je pouvais sentir l'odeur fraîche du bacon. mmmmm. Passer noël loin de la maison est difficile. Mais c'est quand on est entourés de gens fantastique, disons que ca rend la chose plus vivable. En après midi nous sommes tous allés prendre une marche sur le bord du fleuve. La lumière était belle, l'air était frais, mes amis étaient beau et je me sentais pleine d'amour. 

Merci à mes amis Angela, Chris, Rachel, Jp, Janice, Jaime, Kelsey, Jason, Tim et Peggy et tous mes autres amis pour rendre ma vie si belle.

This morning for breakfast I went to Angela and Chris' house with my friend Rachel. It was absolutely lovely. Chris had made TONS of food. just walking up the stairs outside I could smell the freshness of the bacon. mmmmmm. Spending christmas away from home is hard. but when you are surrounded by absolutely awesome people. well...it makes things easier. In the after noon we all went for a walk with the dogs down by the river. The light was beautiful, the air was crisp and my friends were just beautiful and I felt full of love.

 Thank you Angela, Chris, Rachel, JP, Janice, Jaime, Kelsey, Jason, Tim and Peggy and all my other friends for rocking my world.

Noël c'est le temps de l'année ou on peut utiliser des lumières de noël dans les sessions photo. Ce qui est plutôt chouette. Je vois toujours sur internet les photo quétaines de couples enveloppés dans des lumières de noël. je trippe pas. Mais les lumières de noël on une certaine lumière vraiment intéressante. 

Des fois j'ai de la difficulté à trouver des gens qui ont le goût d'être victime de la caméra pour une couple d'heures juste pour mon simple plaisir. Pourtant, j'ai 2 amies qui était plus qu'excitées quand j'ai proposé l'idée (YES). Elles ont finalement été très pros. Je n'ai même pas eu besoin de les distraire ou d'animer. Elles ont pris soins de ça en jouant à des jeux de rire bizarres. Il y a eu beaucoup de rire et même des larmes de bonheur (de la part de Janice en particulier).

Christmas is that time of the year where you can legitimately use christmas lights in your photo shoots. Which is pretty awesome. I always see on the internet those cheesy pictures of couples wrapped in christmas lights. Not a fan. But christmas lights have this cool glow that I really wanted to use. 

Sometimes I find it hard to find people that are fully welling to be victim of the camera for a couple hours just for my own personal fun. Somehow I have 2 friends that were MORE than thrilled when I suggested the photo shoot (YESS) they turned out to be great models! I didn't even have to entertain them. They took care of that with some weird laughing games. Let me tell you; there was a WHOLE lot of laughter and even tears a joy (a lot coming from Janice ;) )
