Je travaille dans un bar. Un soir quand j'étais au travail des amis à moi sont arrivés avec un autre gars que je ne connaissais pas. Je commence à parler avec lui et nous arrivons au sujet de photo. A ce point là il ne savait toujours pas que je fais de la photo et avait en lui déjà quelques bières. Bref, il décide qu'il va m'expliquer comment prendre des photos des aurores. Après quelques temps je lui ai montré des photos des aurores que j'ai pris. Il a arrêté d'expliquer. Comme toujours à Norman Wells c'est toujours les meilleurs qui partent. Ca n'a pas pris beaucoup de temps avant que Mark soit transféré à Yellowknife. Cette semaine il m'a envoyé un message disant qu'il serait à Norman Wells pour quelques jours alors nous en avons profité ce soir pour aller faire de la photo. Malgré le thermomètre qui indiquait moins de -30 et mes orteils gelés j'ai passé un bon moment en bonne compagnie et j'ai pris de bonnes photos.

I work in a bar. One night while I was at work this guy walks in with a couple of my friends. somehow we get to the topic of photography. At this point the guy had a couple beers in him and didn't know yet that I also do some photography in my free time. He decided that he would explain to me how to take pictures of northern lights. After a little while I showed him some pictures I took. He stopped explaining. As always in Norman Wells, all the best ones always have to leave. It didn't take to long that Mark was transfered to Yellowknife. This week I got a message from him saying that he would be in Norman Wells for a couple days so we went out tonight to capture the lights. Even thought the thermometer was showing under -30 and I couldn't feel my toes anymore, I had a great time in great company and got great pictures.
